Affiliates

Commission

  • 30% of the paid amount on every referred order — flat, all paid plans.
  • Calculated on the paid amount (post-tax, post-discount, post-fees). What lands in your dashboard is what you take home.

Attribution

  • A 90-day cookie is set when a visitor lands with ?ref=<your-slug> on any URL.
  • First-touch attribution: if the buyer clicks two different affiliate links, the first one wins.
  • Returning visitors keep their attribution as long as the cookie is alive.

Claim your slug

  1. Buy any paid tier (Starter $9 is the minimum). You need at least one paid order on file to claim a slug.
  2. Open /dashboard/affiliate and enter the email you used at checkout.
  3. Pick a slug (3-32 chars, letters/numbers/dash/underscore). Once claimed, it's yours forever.

Payout

  • Monthly, via Polar.sh.
  • Minimum $25 USD earned before a payout is issued — any unpaid amount rolls over.
  • You'll get an email from Polar each time a payment ships.

What we don't do

  • No clawbacks except for refunds: if a referred order is refunded, its commission is voided in the same proportion as the refund — and if it was already paid out, it's deducted from your next payout.
  • No tier downgrades. Once you've earned 30%, it doesn't drop because someone above you sold more.
  • No exclusivity. You can promote competing products. We don't care.

Dashboard

The dashboard at /dashboard/affiliate shows:

  • Your referral link (copy-to-clipboard)
  • Total referrals (orders attributed)
  • Total earned (30% of paid amounts)
  • Next payout estimate

It's intentionally minimal. Phase 8 will add per-month breakdown and the option to wire a custom landing page.
